da realbet: Liverpool host Chelsea this weekend in another English heavyweight bout that, as we edge closer to the end of the season, could have some big consequences for both clubs depending on the result – the Reds cannot afford to slip up with title rivals Manchester City just one point ahead, while a win for the Blues would see them further establish themselves in a hotly-contested race for the top-four.
After a scary first half an hour or so, Jurgen Klopp’s side eventually got the better of Southampton last time out, with Naby Keita scoring and Jordan Henderson impressing in a more advanced role.
Meanwhile, Chelsea were able to follow up on their win over Brighton with a fairly routine victory over West Ham – their third consecutive win in the Premier League – in which Eden Hazard stole the show with two strikes.
Maurizio Sarri has finally caved in to the chorus of Chelsea fans begging for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi to start and the pair have made a huge difference to the team in recent weeks, while Liverpool have continued to showcase their ability to grind out wins and come back despite the odds being stacked against them, as they could be this weekend.

Fouls per game: 21.24
Fouls per tackle: 0.62
Penalties per game: 0.36
Red cards per game: 0.24
Away win bias: 48%
One of the Premier League’s most experienced referees, Michael Oliver, has been assigned the game and, while the Reds have won four out of their five games he has officiated, one of his stats might make for unpleasant reading for the Kop.
Having taken charge of 25 league games, Oliver is the third-most experienced referee this season (out of 18 referees) and is widely regarded as one of the best around – Liverpool will agree, as their record when he’s the man in the middle speaks for itself.

They will feel confident of a result at Anfield this weekend then, right? Well, Oliver is one of just five refs with a home-win bias below 40%, boasting 32%, while his away-win bias sits at 48%. Should he lean further towards Liverpool’s visitors this weekend, then Chelsea could be the team to snuff out the Reds’ title hopes.
The 34-year-old has officiated three Chelsea games, of which the Blues have won two and drawn one – an unbeaten record under Oliver’s watch that they will surely be hoping to extend when they travel north to Merseyside this weekend. Will Sunday be they day that Liverpool’s title shot is dealt a potentially lethal blow?
