da pixbet: Sir Alex Ferguson has rubbished claims that he is considering retiring as Manchester United manager at the end of next season.
da realbet: The 68-year-old has been at the United helm since 1986 but recent reports had suggested he was considering ending his record-breaking reign at the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
Former Chelsea and current Internazionale boss Jose Mourinho and Everton manager David Moyes have both been linked with any managerial vacancy at Old Trafford.
However, Ferguson insists he has no plans to retire when speaking at his press conference ahead of Saturday's vital Premier League showdown with Tottenham.
"It is absolute rubbish – there is no truth in it," he declared.
"I have no intention of retiring and if I did the people I would tell are (chief executive) David Gill and the (owners) Glazer family."
Ferguson went on to suggest that only ill-health would force him to reconsider his future plans.
He added:"It is what you have to accept in life. I can deal with it.
"The only thing that determines whether I stay here is my health and I am in rude health."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
